All prophecies the bible says will happen in end times are happening or almost completed at present

Note:  See updates at end of post……Concentrating on Matthew 24 commentary.

In Old Testament and New Testament the bible tells us end times will start slowly and accelerate (like birth pangs) – that’s what’s happening today with diseases(pestilence), worldwide economic collapse, war, fukushima.

These are many end time events listed in bible that are true today:

Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. There will be pestilence and disease and famine in diverse places. Mathew 24 and 1-4 seals of Revelation 6.

We have a global economy, the gov’t can track everyone and the mark of the beast is ready.

The image of the beast that can move and speak can be transmitted to everyone’s home.Rev. 13:14-15

Political correctness has gone completely overboard – people get fired for smallest infraction, or utterance. Bible refers to this as many will be offended (Mathew 24:10)

Evil and perversity rules – especially on the internet. (Mathew 24:12)

There is a RISE IN SPIRITUALISM doctrines of the devils.1 Timothy 4:1 …’Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.’

Jesus said we would see earthquakes in diverse places(Mathew 24:7) . Why would Jesus say this or why should we even care? Because he is letting us know our capabilities in end times.

Here’s a list of prophecies bible says will happen in end times (All must be true at the same time, or it’s not end times).

1a) Israel will not be defeated by her enemies once she is gathered from all the nations of the world – Well, She hasn’t. Notice this is well before the Millennial Reign. Isaiah 54:17

Israelis early history was one of being defeated. God tells us in end times – no one will defeat her. The 6 day war was one of amazing miracles for Israel:
godssecret.wordpress.com/2010/10/05/miracles-in-the-six-day-war

Here’s a war that hasn’t happened yet –  but could happen any day now:

There will be a Gog Magog war (Ezekiel 38) that starts with God putting a hook in Israel’s enemies jaw, drawing them down to attack Israel.   Subsequently, God supernaturally destroys gog and his army so much so that  ALL heathen, and Israel finally recognize God and fulfillment of the promise that NOW All Israelis return from the 4 corners of the earth. Ezekiel 39:25.

1) Israel becomes a nation again, after being conquered and inhabitants dispersed throughout the world. This has never been done by another nation. Ezekiel 36,37:22 and 38; Jeremiah 30 – 31 Isaiah 43 etc. Note: This event signaled start of end times. Since 1948 things have been steadily marching towards end with prophecies consistently coming true:

2) Globalization and New World Order. We already are a global economic world order, and some even refer to people in the world as citizens of the world. It’s obvious we are headed to a new world order. Rev 6 – lst seal, Rev 13 – Dan 7:23 he “and shall devour the whole earth”; Zech 9:10 He will come in peace and his dominion shall be to the ends of the earth.

3) The global government will be able to track all the people in the world. This was impossible until now. How? – Computer databases. Apparently – we are already doing this. Rev 13:17 – True

4) God told Abraham he would be the father of many great nations and descendants too numerous to count. At present the population of world 7 billion and counting – why is this important? Because all inhabitants of the earth will be required to take mark of beast-and it can’t be done without computers. (rev 13). Genesis 15 – 17

5) We now have the ability world wide to worship an image of the AC. This was impossible until now – How? With smartphones, webcams, TV, satellie etc. This will be a worldwide requirement.

How will this be enforced – we already have cameras in our TV’s, smartphones etc. Rev 13

If you notice all end time prophecies involve entire earth/world not one or 2 nations.

6) Jesus said we will be able to *SEE the AC defile the holy place, while in a field/on rooftop. How is this possible? with smartphones; also the 2 witnesses lying in the streets in Jerusalem, and SEE them ascend into heaven. We will SEE God judging Israel’s enemies Ezekiel 39:21. Impossible until now. Math 24, Dan 7 – 12, Rev 11:7

7) knowledge will increase – and how. As described above. Amazing development in last 50 years, and has increased Exponentially last 10 years than last 6,000 years. This had to happen to allow AL bible prophecy to be fulfilled. Dan 12 – True

8) Jesus said nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom – whole world is fracturing. It’s involved in wars, threats of wars, riots etc – Math 24 – True

9) disasterous pestilence and disease – antibiotics losing effective, mysterious diseases showing up; new strains bird flu, swine flu etc

10) people will worship the creation and not the creator – God is being mocked, hollywood stars, and sports figures idolized. – True

11) many will be offended – Political correctness is completely out of control. Seems everyone these days is offended, and many people are being fired for just saying a word. Math 24:10 – True

12) evil and iniquity abounds – porn etc biggest business on internet, amongst other things. Mathew 24, Romans 1. Big True

13) people will openly mock God – saying where is your God – he hasn’t shown up – never will.
2 Peter:3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

14) people will hate Jesus and christians Math 24
15) christians will be persecuted. Math 24
16) children will become disobedient to authority and parents. Romans 1
17) food costs soar. Rev 6
18) people will run to and fro – they do. Dan 12 airplanes.
19) Iran will become a great nation – Dan 8:4
20) Jerusalem will be a burden to all – zachariah – 12:3 – True
21) Israel’s land will be divided – gaza and more to come – True
22) all nation will turn against Israel – Obama is abandoning Israel today. Luke 21 – True
23) Roman empire is revived and becomes great again – EU – Dan 7:7
24) wild beasts will turn on humans – as we move in on their land. – Rev 6
25) people approve of and encourage evil. Romans 1:18- 32 True
26) good becomes evil and evil good – moral relativism happening today. Some even claim there is no evil. – True
27) the gospel will be preached throughout all nations – it is (internet). mathew 24:14 – True
28) many will be turned to righteousness – see example below. Dan 12
29) christians will warn we are in end times – but many will not believe it Dan 12
30) many false prophets shall arise – they have. Math 24:11
31) Israel will fly into the wilderness on the wings of an eagle – we have airplanes today.
32) goat in Daniel 8:5 will move across the whole earth without touching the ground – drones,
33) there will be electronic money – pretty much there with credit and debit cards.
34) love will grow cold – look at all viral videos on internet of torture, rape etc.

additional prophecies added to list below:

35) Rev 12:10

Satan in end times is allowed for a short period of time to rule the earth. That’s why he is referred to as the god of this world. And his rule is becoming very evident.

Isa. 41:18-20

As mentioned above, another prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes as Israel is slowly but surely transforming from a desolate, wasteland to a beautiful, fruitful and plentiful nation.

The prophecy was that it would remain a wasteland until the return of “His people”.

An excerpt:From Rags to Riches – contrasts then and now:

Mark Twain described Palestine in the 19th century as a “blistering, naked, and treeless land” (Innocents Abroad, Vol. II, p. 234). He spoke of the villages as “ugly, cramped, uncomfortable, and filthv” (Ibid., v. 260). He stated, “It was better to swallow a devil than to have to live in such a place” (Ibid., p. 266). He was describing the area around the now beautiful Sea of Galilee, whose surrounding hills are covered with trees and where forests abound. In the day of Israel’s restoration, various types of trees will be abundant there once again (Isa. 41:18-20).

36) Another End Time Sign – RISE IN SPIRITUALISM doctrines of the devils.

1 Timothy 4:1 …’Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.’

37) 2 Timothy 4:3

In the last days people will turn to unsound doctrine only wanting their ears tickled and not the truth.

38) 2 Timothy 3:1

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Another prophecy in the bible is man destroys the world. – we are very far advanced in seeing this one fulfilled.

Isaiah 54 – mentioned above.

No Nation can defeat Israel:

15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.

39) Daniel 12:

The wicked will not understand what is going on (paraphrased) – so true
Another prophecy that has been fulfilled today:

40) Isaiah 11:10

In that day there shall be a root of Jesse whom the Gentiles shall seek.

Jesus is from the root of Jesse.

In that day is end times.

It is mostly gentiles who believe in Jesus, and most Jews still believe the messiah has yet to come.

————

Another bible prophecy that is true and continuing to be true.

41) Mathew 24:35

Jesus said that the world would pass away – but his word never will; his word is 2000 years and still going strong.

He also tells us that the gospel (his word) – will spread to all nations, and then the end.

42) Revelation 18:18 God destroys man who destroys the earth. – nuclear reactors doing a pretty good job of this (especially fukushima)

Egypt would exist in the last days – but only as a “lowly Kingdom” (Ezekiel 29:14-16). Egypt was one of the world’s greatest ancient civilizations. Yet today, as prophesied, Egypt remains – but only as a third world nation – which will “never again exalt itself above the nations” (v. 15). And while God’s Word foretold of the demise of many other ancient people groups and kingdoms (which have long since vanished), Egypt remains!

43) Worldwide systemic meltdown financially – happening today:
Revelation 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

James 5:3
Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

44) Romans 1:28

….just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind….they are gossips, slanders, Godhaters, insolent, arrogant and boast…

Next:  Commentary Matthew 24 – Alternative view

Matthew 24:

With Mathew 24, I want to start in the middle instead of at the beginning, because I feel it might lead to a better understanding of what I want to convey & how this is the only generation that will SEE all prophecies fulfilled.

This verse is the key IMHO:

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

The fig tree is Israel.

It all starts with Israel and ends with Israel.

There are many places in the bible that refer to Israel as the fig tree, and the figs as the people of Israel.

For Instance:

Jeremiah 24

Two Baskets of Figs

1 After Jehoiachin[a] son of Jehoiakim king of Judah and the officials, the skilled workers and the artisans of Judah were carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Lord showed me two baskets of figs placed in front of the temple of the Lord. 2 One basket had very good figs, like those that ripen early; the other basket had very bad figs, so bad they could not be eaten.

3 Then the Lord asked me, “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

“Figs,” I answered. “The good ones are very good, but the bad ones are so bad they cannot be eaten.”

4 Then the word of the Lord came to me: 5 “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Like these good figs, I regard as good the exiles from Judah, whom I sent away from this place to the land of the Babylonians. 6 My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land.

—–

God tells us he will “bark his fig tree” – let the enemy capture them and carry them off to Babylon…

Joel 1:7 It has laid waste my vine and splintered my fig tree; it has stripped off their bark and thrown it down

Continuing with the parable: When his branches are still tender; meaning while Israel is still a young nation….

Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender…..

Israel will at this point will bear no fruit (figs) – only leaves.

Meaning – they essentially will be a secular nation….

And they are!!

I want to compare Luke and Mark with Mathew 24 on the parable of the fig tree:

Here’s Luke 21

29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

The gospels of Mathew, Mark and Luke are following a pattern you find throughout the entire bible.

God never gives us an entire prophecy in one chapter – he forces us to understand all the scriptures and not one small part.

Man loves a challenge. The bible is exactly that.

Here in Luke he adds more information to what Mathew gave us.

We are still to pay attention to Israel, however, now we have to look at all the trees.

When we see the buds (and he means literally see the buds), we know summer is near.

Mark 13 – Parable of the fig tree – Slight variation of Mathew 24:

28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:

29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

—–

Mathew 24:

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall SEE ALL these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Combining these 3 gospels you get an interpretation along these lines:

Once Israel is a “reborn” nation we should take this as a sign something is about to happen.

We are also told – that there are things we are going to literally SEE.

To paraphrase Luke, Mark and Mathew. Once Israel becomes a nation, pay attention.

There will be signs we’ll literally SEE (videos, TV etc).

i.e. – when you SEE the buds forming on a tree – this is a sign summer is near.

LIKEWISE – the same applies here.

When you SEE ALL these things – ….

Next, we have to determine what Mathew meant by ALL these things.

There is one verse in particular that I would like to delve a little deeper into; that is:

Luke 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

Some dispute the fact that Luke is talking about literally SEEing these things – saying for example – “you see what I mean”. Which is not literally seeing. It’s more like – you know what I mean.

However, Luke anticipated that when he said “you SEE AND you KNOW.

You actually SEE the buds on the tree.

Same with end times – you literally SEE everything Mathew 24 lists.

The gospels of Mathew, Mark and Luke taken together expand our knowledge of the last days.

They complement and supplement each other, rather than repeat.

For instance – Mathew 24 gives us one list When you see ALL these things

Luke 21 gives us another list.

Many think end times have already happened. Well, if you take only Luke 21 that would be true.

Luke gives us a list that happens DURING the apostle’s lives;

Mathew’s list is AFTER the end times begins

Here’s Luke paraphrased:

Jesus is answering their question ‘when will the end be’

He tells them many things that will occur in end times, including earthquakes in diverse places; nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom…

Then adds: BEFORE all this take place:

Luke 21:

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

—-

Of course we know from history – this is exactly what happened.

Let’s take a look at what Mathew in Mathew 24 means when he says – When you SEE ALL of these things:

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall SEE ALL these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.’

—-

You actually have to go to the very beginning of Mathew 24 to find the detail of the meaning all.

First Jesus gives them an idea of what happens to them.

Next he jumps ahead right before end times – when he says – when you HEAR of these things – wars and rumours of war – don’t worry, the end is not yet. In that day and time – it could take months; even years for information to travel from one area to the other.

THEN – he starts with the list that’s inclusive in the word “ALL” he referring to:

FOR, nation will rise against nation; kingdom against kingdom. Earthquakes, disease, famine will be in diverse places.

These are the beginning of sorrows.

How do we know nation is rising against nation? How do we know that there is earthquakes, disease and famine in diverse places? We know instantaneously because of the internet.

If there is an earthquake in such a diverse place as the pacific rim – we know about it. The ancients had no idea of earthquakes in diverse places. Diverse meaning – another location other than you own…….

Jesus tells them not to let anyone deceive them

Then reiterates it – which I believe he’s talking to everyone from that day to our time.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

He continues by adding modes of communication to illustrate a timeline:

First he talks about hearing – when you are hearing about wars and rumours of war – end times has not yet started.

People have essentially only “heard” about things for Millennia – through word of mouth, radio and any other audio available.

Then, there came another mode of communication – visualization.

We were able to communicate information visually about wars and rumours of war through TV – later computers and lastly smartphones….

However, we are given a particular time that end times starts in earnest and we can visualize wars i.e. Actually see all the action.

That is once Israel becomes a nation again.

Math 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall SEE ALL these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.’

Luke 21:30 When they now shoot forth, YE SEE AND KNOW of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand…

Likewise (same thing applies here), when you SEE ALL these things…..

Another place God reinforces the fact that we will visualize events is:

Ezekiel 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall SEE my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

In this scenarios – in the mountains of Israel God through supernatural means destroys Armies attacking Israel.

—-

How could anyone SEE his judgement of Israel’s enemies without mass communications i.e. go-pro, internet, mobile devices or whatever.

Notice that Jesus says when you hear of rumours of war, and wars – the end is not here.

But when you SEE nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom.

In other words when you SEE wars.

He doesn’t say rumours of wars again, because we can’t SEE rumours of war!!

I know many people say – but there have always been wars and rumours of wars, and earthquakes and famine etc.

This is true.

But Jesus is qualifying what he means – by giving us exact Wording of events that has never happened before in the history of mankind.

For instance – earthquakes in diverse places.

Never before this generation have we been able to see earthquakes in diverse places. He chooses his words very carefully in Mathew 24. These earthquakes must be in a location other than a regional one. How would you know about an earthquake – say, for example – the USA in ancient times? There was no USA to them!!

This is actually a very recent development.

http://ds.iris.edu/seismon/

We see these earthquakes simultaneously in diverse places.

Continuing with the Parable of the fig tree in Mathew 24:

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled

Question we have to ask here is – What is “a generation” in biblical terms?

Psalm 90

10 The days of our lives are seventy years;
And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,

—-

On average a generation is 70 years

Mathew 24:34 tells us this generation that SEES all these things shall not pass till ALL things be fulfilled.

The next question is – what will this generation see?

Well we can start with – witnessing Israel become a nation again.

Why Israel proves God is real:

Short excerpt:

“Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.”

In other words, the miracle we are still witnessing today, as Jews from all over the world flock to their reborn homeland 1,900 years after its destruction, is a bigger miracle than the one seen by the children of Israel who saw the Red Sea parted – allowing them to cross over while destroying the Egyptian army pursuing them….

http://christinprophecy.org/articles/israel-as-proof-of-gods-existence/

So what has to happen is ALL prophecies that haven’t been fulfilled since Israel’s rebirth – now will be fulfilled in 70 yrs.

That’s a tremendous feat.

I look at it this way:

It took 6000 plus years to get to the first computer program.

After that 100 plus years to get first stored computer program to run.

All the prophecies Jesus gave us in Mathew 24 require mass communications and a mobile phone to be completed – and he said it would all be done in 1 generation.

So now in less than a generation, we have mobile phones, computers, mass communications, robots doing human work, and some believe A.I. humanoids that will surpass humans in brain power.

Well, it’s been accomplished and in 1 generation…..Just as Jesus said it would.

Of course, there are a few left – but It’s easy to see the rest are well on their way to be completed soon.

Some of the prophecies that have yet to be fulfilled but know are close – is the destruction of Damascus; the gog magog war; the antichrist standing in the holy place declaring he is god; the mark of the beast, the global world order transforming into a new world order; temple or tabernacle being built – there are more – but not that many that they couldn’t be completed within the 70 year generation timeframe.
